In anticipation of the long-awaited documentary "The Last of the Sea Women" we collaborated on gifts for entertainment executives and key collaborators involved in the project. The film, directed by Sue Kim, highlights the haenyeo divers of Jeju Island, South Korea—women who have carried on a centuries-old tradition of free diving for seafood. Partnering with activist and Nobel Peace Price laureate Malala Yousafzai's production company, Extracurricular (a partnership with AppleTV+), was a true privilege, as their dedication to working with woman-owned and minority-owned brands aligns deeply with our own values.

For this project, we drew inspiration from the sea and Extracurricular’s signature color palette. We commissioned Miro Chun, a Korean American ceramist, whose work we’ve long admired and collected, to hand craft over 200 white porcelain salt cellars. The interior of each piece was glazed in a deep indigo hue to match our client’s Pantone color while subtly evoking the essence of the sea.
